As the leader of our creative team for the Americas, the Creative Director should be a polished communicator with an action-oriented focus, capable of solving communication and marketing challenges as well as developing original solutions to market the Crocs brand and products in a fast paced multi-channel environment. Must possess a keen familiarity with trends in footwear or apparel, retail, online and direct marketing, online community, email and advertising in general. Must have an intimate knowledge of selling concepts by interpreting global brand creative direction, regional research and commercial marketing tactics.

A particular knowledge and experience with digital communications (email, website experiences, social media, etc.) is an added plus.


Collaborate with Global creative management team to ensure brand integrity and consistency of message across channels.
Create and edit all marketing collateral (both print and digital) from Global concept/direction to Regional delivery for the Americas region.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and edit creative for all marketing collateral, email, web based communications, retail signage, direct mail, social media and wholesale sales tools.
Manage content providers (internal and external) and creative marketing team to develop all marketing collateral.
Manage a team of 4-6 in house production designers to efficiently meet aggressive deadlines.
Working knowledge of Flash animation and experience with motion design
Understanding of current demands and trends in designing for the Web (CSS 3, Web 2.0, AJAX, Mobile, etc)
Coordinate with Global and channel manager to leverage the brands, trademarks and other graphical elements of the brand’s intellectual property.
Liaise with marketing, product and business development and research teams to clarify brand presentation in market.
Hire and manage vendors as needed given project deadlines and workflow.

Minimum 8 years recent and relevant creative management experience
Undergraduate degree
Proven track record with consumer brand across all communication platforms (print, online, retail, etc.)
Powerpoint, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, and/or InDesign
Must be able to interpret research data to craft compelling sales stories
Keen appreciation for quality assurance and understanding of business process improvement methods
High personal standards for maintaining confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast paced environment.
