Born and raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, I am now a senior pursuing a BFA in Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis. While in school, I have had the opportunity to study drawing in Florence, Italy and work in the fashion industry in New York City. I am currently pursuing a career in information and interaction design because I believe that design informs us of the world around us. As a designer I want to use my skills to make significant social impact, whether it is creating awareness of major social issues or making everyday experiences more convenient and enjoyable for the public. I am also interested in how design can tell complex informational stories via unique visual systems.
