By The Chicago Egotist / / Arc did a pretty cool interactive social media thing, #Mudslinging, for Tide to mark the beginning of football season. Two competing billboards in Times Square featured CGI images of rival team members. Then it was up to the fans to talk as much smack as possible in the allotted time. The best tweets showed up on the billboard, slinging virtual “mud” on their enemy’s jerseys. After two minutes, both jerseys were digitally “cleaned” via a special Tide digital spray, along with the “Protect your team’s colors with Tide” tagline before beginning a countdown for the next battle. Pretty fun way to start the season.
