JOHN B. SANFILIPPO & SONS AWARDS CREATIVE AND MEDIA AOR DUTIES TO TERRI & SANDY AND CAGE POINT

Agencies will handle strategic, creative and media duties for nut company’s full suite of brands, including Fisher, Orchard Valley Harvest and Squirrel

John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS), a provider of full-line nut & dried fruit products under brands such as Fisher, Orchard Valley Harvest, and Squirrel, has chosen Terri & Sandy as its new strategic and creative AOR and Cage Pointas its new media AOR. The win comes following a competitive review for the business led by NY-based Joanne Davis Consulting. 

The decision to bring on agency partners comes as JBSS is looking to build awareness of its brands and drive category penetration with Millennials and Gen Z consumers. Terri & Sandy will partner with JBSS’s marketing leadership on overall strategy and creative work across its full portfolio while Cage Point will focus on total media planning and investment for JBSS. Initial work will debut later this year.

New York based independent Terri & Sandy brings extensive category experience to the JBSS relationship. Co-Founders Terri Meyer and Sandy Greenberg, along with Managing Director Tony Scopellito, spearheaded the Planters brand for 8 years at FCB.

The win adds to a streak of new business for Terri & Sandy, which recently picked added  Sennheiser’s Consumer Hearing division, Barr Hill Gin, Cambio coffee roasters, and Universal Nutrition to its growing roster.
