More than anything it will be your job to anticipate. You’ll know what the client needs before they ask. In the same regard, you’ll anticipate what the creative and media teams need before they start getting their hands dirty. Requirements:

You’ll have:
• 8+ years of account service experience in a marketing, advertising or digital agency
• Ability to drive internal teams, produce cutting edge work and represent the agency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a quick-paced environment
• Ability to manage a team while at the same time have the willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into some of the more mundane tasks on a day-to-day basis (scheduling, proofreading, routing, etc.) with a positive, can-do attitude
• The skills to foster effective teamwork and strong relationships
• Ability to develop and drive project schedules
• Ability to develop accurate estimates and SOWs and manage them through project completion on time and on budget (and know when it’s appropriate to raise the red flag)
• A solution driven mentality
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to support Group Account Director in their role
• Integrated Campaign Development, Media and Production experience a must
• A hunger to move upward
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day communications with assigned clients while building and maintaining strong relationships as a trusted business partner
• Capable of effectively handling all client meetings and calls without additional Senior Account Staff support
• Can manage at least 1-2 larger clients and 2-3 smaller clients
• Preparation for all meetings (both internal and external)
• Ownership of all project plans/retainer status reports
• Managing Workamajig for client work (alongside the dedicated Project Manager)
• Solid understanding of establishing and adhering to project budgets (estimating and scoping)
• Overseeing the scheduling and internal routing of all client work, responsible for hitting all deadlines/milestones
• Creation of project and campaign creative briefs (with the support of Strategy)
• Provide clear direction to creative team upon kickoff and rounds of revisions, knowing when and where to dig deeper with clients to understand the “why”
• Provide strategic thinking around project management and creative work
• Advocate on behalf of the agency, creative, media, and digital teams to produce highly creative work that meets the business objectives of our clients
• Support for Group Account Director in all administrative, research and other project related tasks
• Maintaining big picture view and thinking creatively to solve problems and when dealing with change, able to break away from traditional thought
• Is accountable for own actions, agency team performance and client results
• Vendor management/procurement of vendor estimates
• Travel required
