Agency veteran Jerremy Howell is joining BarkleyOKRP as Chief People Officer, a new position at the agency. He was previously at Publicis Groupe, where he held a variety of roles, most recently serving as VP, Talent & Organizational Development for the Publicis Health division.

“Jerremy brings a wealth of experience to our leadership team in supporting talent and culture,” said Dan Fromm, President of BarkleyOKRP. “He joins us at a crucial moment as we align and integrate as one BarkleyOKRP company and build out our organization to be true to our model of Big Indie—an agency with the agility and speed of independence and the scale to meet client needs at every touchpoint.”

In March of this year Barkley and OKRP merged, forming BarkleyOKRP. Then in May, the agency acquired performance media and marketing company Adlucent.

“I’m passionate about building strong, cohesive cultures and empowering people,” said Jerremy Howell. “BarkleyOKRP offers a rare opportunity to unite diverse talents and perspectives under a single, forward-thinking agency model. I’m excited to help shape an organization that champions independence while pushing boundaries in a constantly evolving industry.”

Howell added, “The agency’s independent spirit, B Corp certification, and commitment to DEI+B were major factors in my decision to join. I’m eager to contribute to an organization that not only embraces change but actively invests in making a meaningful impact on its communities.”

In his new role, Howell will work across all agency offices and will be based in Chicago. He will oversee an HR team of over 10 team members who support over 800 employees across six offices in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, Pittsburgh, Denver and New York City.
