SocialDeviant Wins Biz, and Shows Off Production Creds

Chicago creative agency SOCIALDEVIANT kicked off 2023 with three new wins from big brands, including Jenny Craig, Bumble Bee Seafoods, and Medela.

These wins come on the heels of a new manifesto film, “DEVIATE FROM DUH”, which gleefully brings to life the agency’s high-octane stance against mediocre work and officially launches its TV production arm, DEVIANT TV.

Bringing mostly SOCIALDEVIANT talent and crew to a 1920’s castle in Oregon, IL, the agency shot a two-minute video to introduce “DEVIATE FROM DUH,” employing a modern “knight” (Satya Chávez) who gleefully fights off familiar ad-world obstacles and tropes to spotlight how SOCIALDEVIANT takes a creative approach to avoiding the expected, or what they call “bland marketing.”

And it’s this ethos that attracted a new set of clients.

The Chicago-based agency will be working with Jenny Craig on a complete brand revamp. SOCIALDEVIANT will be tasked with reimagining the brand’s purpose, personality, position, and visual identity, along with developing creative that brings the brand to life across multiple channels to connect with a new generation of consumers.

Bumble Bee Seafoods has selected SOCIALDEVIANT as their fully integrated agency of record. This includes developing a campaign that will drive awareness and preference with Millennials across strategy, concepting, media planning and buying, creative production, and social media and influencer management.

And the third win this year is Medela, the most trusted breast pump breast brand in North America for four years in a row*. The brand has tapped SOCIALDEVIANT to be their social media agency of record for the US and Canada, focusing on engaging with moms to drive increased relevance and engagement.
